Wayne Jones
He began his work here in May, 2007. Wayne graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching in 1996 as the top Academic student. He is married to the former Shana Kaye Spacek. Together, they have four children, Hannah, Ashlyn and Bailey and they welcomed baby Karsyn in January of this year. Wayne has also preached locally in Luxora, AR, Newbern, TN and Southaven, MS. He has worked extensively in Christian youth camp serving as a counsel and/or director for the past eleven years at Sardis Lake Christian Camp in Sardis, MS. He has spoken on various lectureship programs such as Power, the Spiritual Sword and the Memphis School of Preaching Lectureship.Wayne’s father (David B. Jones), father-in-law (Ricky Spacek) and brother-in-law (Daniel F. Cates) are also Gospel preachers.

Andy Baker
Andy has been laboring with the church at University since September of 2006. He is a 2006 graduate of the Southwest School of Bible Studies in Austin, Texas and also married Kathryn (Haschke) in November of 2006. Andy holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in Music from Stephen F. Austin State University. He worked for two years in the Plano public school system teaching music. Andy has preached regularly for the church in Upton, TX while a student at Southwest. He has preached in several meetings in and around the Austin area, and has also served in several mission trips to Jamaica, Ukraine and Africa since 2004.

Trent Kennedy
Trent began full-time work with University congregation and college students in July of 2007 immediately after graduating from the Southwest School of Bible Studies. He has been married for over five years to the former Lisa Veazey. They have a newborn baby girl, Ella. Trent holds an earned bachelor's degree from Angelo State University with a double major in Communications and Psychology. While in college, Trent began to preach on a fill-in and as-needed basis in and around San Angelo. He has worked locally with the Upton, TX Church of Christ; worked with college-aged students in San Angelo, TX; conducted mission work in the US; and participated in foreign mission efforts in Mexico and Jamaica. Trent spends his days with the Texas State University students at the McCarty Student Center teaching Bible Classes and overseeing devotionals and social activities.
