The purpose for Focal Point is to encourage, educate and strengthen men who are laboring to preach the Gospel of Christ. In fulfilling this purpose we pray that God will be glorified and that His name will be exalted.

Many have heard of the "Polishing the Pulpit" Preacher Workshop held in the Tennessee area every year. There are many from the Texas area who have desired to attend but have not been able because of distance and cost. This workshop is similar to PTP in style and in scope and is targeted at helping encourage preachers in the Texas area. The University church of Christ in San Marcos, Texas is humbled and honored to be able to host this workshop for preachers.
